ZealFish is a studio shaped by the art of sensing, impressions, and seeing—bonsai, sculpture, music, and objects gathered through a lifetime of making.
Each work begins with character already present—a tree shaped by time, stone formed by the earth, or an object carrying a history of its own. The artist’s hand enters somewhere along that journey, at a particular moment in time—not to erase what came before, but to reveal it, add to its story, and send it forward.
BONSAI
Every tree carries a history. The art of bonsai begins by recognizing that history—then balancing the will of nature with the stewardship and vision of man.
ART & SCULPTURE
Form is the beginning—contour, movement, balance and space. As with bonsai, the work is guided by intuition: sensing what is already present and revealing its distinctive character.
